Intermediate Certificate I
The programme introduces you to all aspects of television/video programme production. It focuses on providing you with theoretical and practical knowledge of television/video production techniques. You will also learn to operate professional video camera equipment, sound recording equipment and non linear editing software required to produce television programmes and video films.

Having understood and developed basic skills in camera, lighting, sound and editing, you will then learn to write, interview and report news stories for television. You also develop your abilities to anchor TV news and report stories before the camera.

The programme introduces you to Documentary, as an important form of communication. We help you to develop and evaluate ideas to write a script for a short documentary film on a subject of your choice. You also learn to work cohesively in a group and shoot and edit these documentaries.
