Foundation Certificate II

This programme is designed to focus on the fundamentals of business operations. Apart from Business Basics, it builds a strong foundation in functions such as Marketing, Financial Accounting and Common Law.

Business Basics

During this module, you will develop an insight of how a business enterprise operates. The module will also focus on the processes that are critical for taking business decisions. During this module you will learn the economics of business, concepts of profit and elasticity.

Marketing Basics

You will be introduced to the fascinating world of Marketing. The module will provide you with an overview of the various functions and processes of the Marketing department. You will also be familiarized with the elements of a marketing plan and be able to develop a marketing plan to meet the needs of a target market. This module will also introduce the methods of measuring market productivity and the concepts of segmenting, targeting and positioning.

Financial Accounting Basics

You will learn the basics principles and processes of financial accounting. You will also learn to prepare books of accounts and various financial statements of a business enterprise.

Common Law

In this module you will be introduced to the law of contract. You will learn to appreciate the essentials elements of a contract and understand the process of formulating business contracts. You will also be familiarized with other laws, the knowledge of which is essential to manage a business organisation.

Cutting Edge Level II

At this level you will develop time management skills along with ability to manage other resources. This module will focus on personal effectiveness, conflict management and negotiation skills. You will also learn the importance of Integrity as a key to success.
