The programme provides an introduction to advanced draping and grading techniques. You are introduced to draping principles and techniques and develop a variety of garments using dress forms. You learn how to prepare pattern charts and cost sheets and create samples. You are also introduced to the fundamentals of grading techniques, increasing and decreasing pattern sizes and size charts.
You will learn to create a comprehensive and effective business plan to launch a fashion collection/label or company. During the programme, you also have the opportunity to undertake a traineeship in the industry.
Your programme culminates in a final project which showcases your personal fashion ideas and original design collection. You learn to negotiate challenges in producing this collection which will be presented in a widely publicized Fashion Show.
On completion of this programme, you would be competent to join the Fashion industry as a qualified Fashion professional and be able to work with reputed fashion designers, production and buying houses, buyers, retail brands and be competent to launch your own fashion line.

Professional Certificate II -Fashion Marketing |
This programme gives you a thorough understanding of emerging trends in global communication, international marketing, labor law, fashion and visual merchandising and garment export import business. You are given an advantage of a traineeship in the industry throughout the programme which helps you to gain valuable work experience even whilst pursuing your studies at the College.
The programme enables you to perform competitively in the international fashion industry. You will be acquainted with International trade policies and EXIM policies for the Apparel industry. You will also acquire knowledge and skills to carry out professional promotional/visual merchandising activities for the Retail sector. You will undertake a live, industry project in which you critically analyze fashion related topics and suggest feasible solutions to problems.
