English is a global language since we all need to communicate in multicultural situations. Learning the language is imperative in today's world since English is the language of communication in both international business and politics.
English is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world with approximately 375 million people who speak English as a mother tongue, an equally large number of people who speak English as a second language, and around 750 million people who speak English as a foreign language. In fact, it is estimated that one in four people learn English as a foreign language and you could be one of them!
