Applying for Visa |
Before you even start applying for a visa, please remember that HONESTY is the key word to success.
You will be able to apply for a visa only after you have received an Unconditional letter or a visa letter as it is often referred to as. The process of visa application demands a lot of attention and eye for detail as even something like a faint print of any document could leave with a rejected application. Visa applications are often rejected for the lack of clarity. Students must not leave any room for doubt as far as their intention to study is concerned. The visa officers will be quick to reject the application if either the student's intent is not found clear, or there is no proof of sufficient proficiency in English, or if any stage it is established that the student has a background of criminal nature in any form. Financial soundness is another important visa consideration. You have to be able to show enough funds for the first year of study along with accommodation cost and also that such funds will be available and accessible for following years of study. For most destinations, allow 4-5 weeks for the visa process.
Be organized... Whether it is your documents or your explanations to questions like why do you want to go to XYZ country? or why only this course? etc.
Remember, supposedly an irate visa officer can never be the reason for your visa to get rejected. You can overcome such hurdles with just a little caution and careful planning.
