Dr. Madhukar G Angur

Dr. Madhukar G Angur is a David M. French Distinguished Professor of Marketing at the School of Management, University of Michigan, Flint, USA.

He is an outstanding academician, erudite scholar, entrepreneur and consultant to Fortune 100 Companies. He has been on the editorial board of several journals of international repute. His articles have appeared in various business journals. He has received numerous awards and recognitions. Dr. Angur is a member of the Governing Council of Alliance and spearheads several new initiatives including the Executive Education Programme. He is an alumnus of the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal and IIM, Ahmedabad and has Doctoral Degree from University of Texas, USA.

Mr. Thomas Barry

Mr. Thomas Barry is the Founder and CEO of Zephyr Management, L.P., a global private equity and marketable securities firm. He was also the President and CEO of Rockefeller & Co. He has held senior executive positions in T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. from 1969 to 1982. He was also the President of T. Rowe Price New Horizons Funds, Inc., (then the largest mutual fund specialising in small capitalisation companies.)

Mr. Barry received an MBA from Harvard Business School and an undergraduate degree from Yale University where he majored in Latin American Studies. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Sushil Bahl- Director Finance, WLCI

Mr. Sushil Bahl, has more than 25 years post qualification experience. He has been working as a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and a qualified Company Secretary since 1984. He has worked with large business houses in India before leaving for Saudi Arabia where he was attached with one of the most renowned groups from 1997 to 2003.

Mr. Vivek Bhargava

Mr. Vivek Bhargava is Director-Human Resources currently handling multiple role of supporting DuPont IS (Asia Pacific), DuPont Imaging Business (Asia Pacific) and Project Manager- DuPont HR Transformation Project Asia Pacific. He has had a multi- faceted career.

Being a Chartered Accountant and a Company Secretary by qualification, he shifted career gears to practice Human Resources in 1997. Starting his Industrial career with Jay Engineering in 1988, Vivek moved on to head the finance function of the Parwanoo plant of Eicher Tractors. Later, he joined the Agrolimen group of Spain and moved on to assist in setting up the Agro Chemical business of DuPont in India. He was appointed as the Head of the Human Resources function for DuPont South Asia. Under his leadership, Hewitt declared DuPont India the“Best Employer of the Year” in 2003 and 2004 consecutively.

Vivek has travelled widely to all the parts of the world to understand processes and dealt with people of all nationalities.

Mr. Mukul Gulati has over 10 years of experience in equity markets in the United States. He has spearheaded projects in investment research, product development and general management for various companies.

He has also served as the General Manager of the Business Division at Multex and Reuters. He co-founded an equity research product, now widely used by institutional investors and led the integration efforts for acquisitions of various companies. He has also worked with Market Guide, a pioneer in the area of financial publishing on the Internet.

Mr. Gulati received an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, where he was the Dean's Scholar at the Department of Economics.

Mr. Suresh Madan is the Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Excalibur Capital Management Inc. He currently manages a $110 million equity portfolio focused on early-stage companies. Mr. Madan has also managed funds for the multi-billion dollar Reichmann family for over a decade.

He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) with 25 years of international experience. Mr. Madan has been a management and financial consultant with several international companies including SB Billimoria (now Deloitte and Touche). He is a widely acclaimed speaker and has delivered talks on various issues relating to financing early-stage companies and alternative public strategies. A gold medalist, he has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and holds a MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Prof. S Manikutty is a Professor for Business Policy and Strategy at IIM, Ahmedabad. He has published numerous papers in internationally reputed journals. He has also conducted research on strategic issues related to business, telecommunication policy, WTO and universal service obligations.

Prof. Kutty is a member of a number of national and international business institutes and associations and of the Inter-Ministerial Advisory Committee on Universal Service Support Policy for Telecommunications, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India.

He is a graduate from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers & Institution of Electrical Engineers (London). He also has a Doctoral degree from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Lt. General Krishna Mohan Seth is a distinguished, academically brilliant and decorated Army Officer, who retired from the Indian Army. Based on his meritorious service and excellent track record he was nominated by the Government of India as the Governor of two states of the country. He was the Governor of Tripura and the then Governor of Chhattisgarh.

While in the Indian Army, he held the noteworthy position of Adjutant General of India Army and made significant contributions as the Chairman of the Army Group Insurance, the Army Welfare Housing Organization. He has also been responsible for planning and budgeting of Pay and Allowances, selection and enrolment of officers and soldiers, discipline and vigilance of the entire Army. He is also the President of Foundation for Aviation and Sustainable Tourism (FAST), New Delhi.

Mr. Douglas H. Schulman, received a BA degree in Political Science from Hofstra University, a law degree (Juris Doctor) from the Hofstra University School of Law, a Master of Science degree (with distinction) in Real Estate Development & Investment from New York University and recently completed the OPM Program in entrepreneurial leadership and management at the Harvard Business School. He has wide experience in the construction industry, having worked on major projects. He is currently with Manhattan Shade & Glass Co., Inc. which services New York's most renowned architects and designers. As its CEO, has been responsible for the vision, strategy and leadership of the organisation over the last twelve years. In addition to his own businesses, he has been working with other companies on their vision, strategy and challenges.

Mr. Takulia is Director, Learning and Development, Taj Luxury Hotels. His earlier responsibilities included managing TMTP (Taj Management Training Programme), and introducing and managing different training initiatives in Taj Hotels, in North India. He was the founder Principal of the India Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad. He is a fellow of Hotel and Catering International Management Association, (HCIMA) UK, and is a life member of India Society of Training and Development.

He completed BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management from University of Huddersfield, UK with First Class Honors. He has a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Schloss Klesheim, Salzburg Austria and Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition, New Delhi.
