The path to development

The role of WLCI’s Mentors is to lead the students on a path of growth and development by discovering their true potential. With a bird’s eye view of all areas of development; our seasoned Mentors are able to make a 360 degree assessment of every learner. Thus, the Mentors are able to guide each student in the right direction.

Mrs Malobika Sengupta
Mrs. Malobika Sengupta is the CEO of WLCI India. She is a marketing professional with over twenty years of experience in the industry. Her expertise lies in product development, brand and media management, marketing, administration and developing and implementing strategies in India and overseas. Ms. Sengupta has always excelled in academics. She won a National Scholarship and topped the PGDBM Batch of Marketing & Finance at the National Productivity Council.
She graduated with an honors degree in Mathematics from Ranchi University and was ranked first in the university. She then proceeded to take a course in Statistics from the prestigious Indian Statistical Institute, Hyderabad. She is also a postgraduate in Marketing and Finance from FMS, Delhi. Ms. Sengupta began her career in Product Management in the building material industry and then moved on to Brand Management, Corporate Communication and Advertising. At WLCI she has been spearheading the organizational operations; formulating and steering the marketing strategies, nurturing the international partnership programmes and overseeing the overall management of the company. Ms. Sengupta has also been one of the key contributors to the unique professional development system envisioned and implemented at WLCI. She is one of the founder members of the institution and has been associated with the organization for the past eighteen years.

Ms. Anamika Verma
With an experience of 20 years in the fashion and export industry, Ms. Anamika Verma, at present, leads the Creative Schools at WLC College India. Her comprehensive work profile comprises of various senior management level as well as several independent projects. Having interacted and worked with clients, buyers, designers and fashion houses of Europe and US, she brings with her extensive industry experience from the Creative Fields of Fashion and Design.

Ms. Anamika attained her Undergraduate degree in Sociology Honors from IGNOU. She also holds a Post graduate diploma in Export – Import Management, Trade and Marketing from the India International Trade Centre, New Delhi. Along with this, she also acquired a diploma in Fashion Forecasting and Merchandising Development. Ms. Anamika was also certified by the Indian School of Business under the Women Entrepreneurship Program for Business Management.

Ms. Anamika has worked extensively with clients and leading Fashion houses and exporters in India and abroad. Her clients included - Jones Apparel Group, Inc.{various brands, including Jones New York, Nine West, Gloria Vanderbilt, Bandolino, VAC, Jessica Simpson, Sanctuary}, Rene Derhy, Walther, Cornell Overseas, EL Corte, Oxygeno, Trucco, Jasco, Monsoon, Salola, Anokhi, Pier I Imports, H&M, Metro, Next, Esprit, Gap, FCUK, Nicole Fahri, River Island, Chicos, Karen Millen, JC Penny, Marks & Spencers, Mexx, Walmart, Target, Whistles, American Eagle Outfitters, Debenhams, Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, Max Marra, Marina Rinaldi. Brig. Chandra Mukesh
Brig. Chandra Mukesh is the Head of Ability Creation Department at WLCI, India. Brig. Chandra holds a Post Graduate Degree in English Literature from the Delhi University and a Masters Degree in Defence Studies. Brig. Chandra Mukesh has a extensive experience of over thirty five years in instructional, staff and command appointments in the Defence Services. Brig. Chandra leads the Ability Creation endeavour at WLCI. He implements and oversees the ‘Professional Development System’ for the student at WLCI and hand-holds them through the life-cycle of the process. He also manages the soft-skill training sessions for the students and evaluates, coaches and mentors them to face the industry challenges. Brig. Chandra handles the overall academic management of the organization while ensuring administrative efficiencies of the campuses, across all the locations in India.

Col Sanjib Nag
Col. Nag is the Campus Director of WLCI Pune Campus. He has served in the Indian Army for 34 years, during which he has served in varied capacities and has attended a large number of prestigious army courses including the LGSC, DSSC and LDMC Courses. He holds three postgraduate degrees, is a doctorate research scholar of the University of Pune and has taken a short course from IIM-Calcutta. Col. Nag has extensive teaching and training experience, having trained thousands of middle and senior level Indian and Foreign Armed Forces Officers, DRDO scientists and PG Management students. He is also an Accredited Management Trainer certified by AIMA.

Binika Ramesh
Ms. Ramesh is the Campus Director for WLCI India, Chennai with two decades of corporate experience. She has completed her Bachelors Degree in Commerce from Madras University Masters in Business Administration from Adam Smith University (US) and Post Graduate diploma in Marketing Management from Annamalai University. In addition, she has done the intermediate program of the Company Secretaries of India from Chennai. Her area of expertise include Retail Management, Marketing and sales, Customer relationship management, new product launch, Vendor Management etc. and at WLCI Chennai, she conducts retail and soft skills modules. Binika Ramesh is a compassionate mentor and interested in nurturing the students potential.

Mr. K Natarajan
Natarajan is the Regional Manager for WLCI India , Bangalore. Natarajan has 30 years of experience in Sales, Banking and Insurance and Operations. He is also faculty for Business Management. Natarajan has worked with India Today Group, ING Vysya, Birlasunlife Insurance, HSBC Bank etc. He has excellent interpersonal, communication & organisational skills with abilities in team management and conflict resolution. At the WLCI India, Bangalore campus he supervises the admission process of the student and is primarily involved in the overall administrative management of the learning centre.

Ms. Deepti Baveja
Ms. Baveja is the National Academic Head of WLCI Advertising & Graphic Design School. Ms Baveja has been instrumental in the pan-India growth and development of the School. She leads the design-curriculum and content development for the institution. Ms. Baveja is an MFA and a Gold medalist from Delhi College of Arts, Delhi University. She has over twenty-six years of experience and has worked as a Creative Director and Design consultant in diverse areas including advertising, design and corporate marketing communications. Ms Baveja oversees the overall administration of the WLCI Advertising & Graphic Design School. Ms Baveja from time to time administers the student’s engagement schedule and sees to it that the WLCI students get the scope of interacting with some of the best minds in the advertising industry. She has planned and successfully executed many intensive industry workshops for WLCI Advertising & Graphic Design School. Ms Baveja is in charge of the student’s screening during the admission process and has taken active interest in formulating a successful orientation process for the design-students. Ms Baveja being a Senior Faculty and HOD of the design department also handles specialized modules for the School. She is also in charge of facilitating the Design students’ traineeship programme. Being from an advertising background, she has cultivated a strong industry network which aids the process of the student’s final placement.

Nutan Kajbaje
Head of the Department, Mumbai, WLCI Creative School
Profile Snapshot: Ms Nutan is a fashion and textile designer by profession. She has many accolades to her credit, one of them being the winner of the “Lady Entrepreneur” award conferred upon her by Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Nutan holds a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Technology and a Diploma in Dress Making, Fashion Coordination and in Textile Design. She has twenty years of industry experience and has headed international fashion schools like Cambrian College of Canada and Huddersfield University, UK (Mumbai Campus).
She is currently heading the Creative School of WLCI College, (Mumbai Campus).
Ms.Kajbaje has gathered invaluable years of experience and expertise in the Fashion & Retail industry by working with renowned names like HAKOBA Retail as a Head of Product Development Department, as a Design Consultant for Online Fashion – iweddingsolutions.com, as the business head for Ace Fashion Lounge Mumbai and the Operations Manager for Designer Krishna Mehta.
Ms.Kajbaje has rich textile and fashion illustration experience; she is creatively and technically proficient and up-to-date with current market trends and industry techniques. She possesses outstanding design, analysis and problem-solving abilities and her forte lies in imparting industry knowledge and sharing her experience with the student’ of WLCI School of Fashion.
Ms.Kajbaje is ardently committed to the interest of nurturing and encouraging each student to achieve his/her full potential and she works closely with the students and guides them through their academic and professional training tenure at the WLCI College.
